We are delighted to present Carsten Höller’s fifth solo exhibition at Air de Paris. The group of works making up Carsten Höller's fifth solo exhibition at Air de Paris, 'With', have been made 'with': with artist Philippe Parreno, architect François Roche, photographer Attilio Maranzano, perfumer Ben Gorham, model-maker Rigobert Nimi, taxidermist Yves Gaumetou and a pair of unnamed twins. The actual quantity of 'with' varies, however, falling within a range including additions to an existing work, authentic collaborations, and straight-out commissions. Carsten Höller exhibtited at Air de Paris (Nice) for the first time in 1991, in the Xmas Show. He recently had solo shows at MACRO (Roma), New Museum (New York), Hauptbahnhof Museum für Gegenwart (Berlin), Museum Boijmans van Beuningen (Rotterdam), Kunsthaus Bregenz and Tate Modern, Turbine Hall (London) … His work has been widely exhibited in venues including la Maison Rouge, Centre Pompidou, (Paris), Hayward Gallery, Southbank Centre, (London), MACRO (Rome), Gallery of Modern Art (Brisbane)… He also curated exhibitions at Le Magasin (Grenoble), Garage CCC (Moscow), Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst (Leipzig) and Lux Galley (London). |
