Ben Kinmont’s new film Saints paradice (2024-25) draws on the 8mm film archive of artist Jilala Jet von Jalopy, among others, to portray the Angels of Light Free Theater and the new worlds they made possible by sharing a communal life together. The Angels of Light were founded by Hibiscus in 1970 and emerged out of the Friends of Perfection Commune. Footage covers the years of 1970 to 1978 and shows the Angels on-stage and outdoors, performing in various parks around San Francisco. The film's soundtrack is performed by Scrumbly who was an original member of both the Angels of Light and the Cockettes.

Les Angels of Light ont été fondés par Hibiscus en 1970 et sont issus de la Commune des Friends of Perfection.
