LEONOR ANTUNES
|
Born in 1972 in Lisbon. Lives and works in Berlin.
Engaging with the history of 20th century architecture, design, and art, Leonor Antunes reflects on the function of everyday objects and the potential of modernist forms to become sculptures. Through subtle detour, divergence and tilting, her work often refers to the current status of this heritage and avant-garde, to its specific geometric forms, motifs and structures designed by architects and designers at the beginning of the twentieth century. |
